Working with GPS
Detailed topographic maps, GPS and last but not least: proper notes!
GPS is an unmissable tool in the field. Determine the exact position of a nest loction and marking it in Goole Earth is only possible with a combination from GPS, fieldnotes and detailed maps. Each time a nest is visited the GPS coordinates are registered. This guarantees that the observation is linked to the correct nest-ID.
