The observations for 2010 season-termite is finally well underway. The cold nights yielded in the beginning of spring is to cold and wet nests. The activity was slow going. But now the cold is finally expelled resemble nests of Formica polyctena to develop well. Not only the nests grow, many new small nests are developing quickly. At different edges, as in Venlo and Winterswijk were a more than ten active nests found.

The growth is not in itself. In many forests there a real pest caterpillars . On the Veluwe forests are mostly oak stripped bare.
